At Balaclava we believe literacy is the first step to becoming a life-long learner. We are passionate about children being confident users of spoken and written language. Underpinning this passion are creative writing and reading programmes that assist young writers and readers to achieve success. Our modern school library creates an environment where children choose to read for enjoyment.
